Your pet has expensive toys, treats and an entire bed and yet somehow the thing they want most is the random plant in the corner. Unfortunately, some plants are not just bad for pets. and they can actually be dangerous.
1. Lilies
Lilies might look pretty, but if you have a cat, they are a hard no.
Even a tiny amount can make cats seriously ill.
So if your cat is the type to chew leaves for fun, maybe do not keep these around.
2. Aloe Vera
Great for your skin. Not great for your pet.
If dogs or cats eat aloe vera, it can upset their stomach and make them sick.
3. Snake Plants
The internet told everyone to buy a snake plant.
The internet forgot to mention that if your pet decides to take a bite, it can cause vomiting and stomach problems.
4. Tulips
Tulips are cute. Tulips are spring. Tulips are also not something your pet should eat.
The bulbs are the worst part, which is unfortunate because that is usually exactly what dogs try to dig up.
When Should You Worry?
If your pet has eaten a plant and starts vomiting, acting tired, drooling or behaving strangely, call your vet.
And maybe move the plant somewhere your tiny little menace cannot reach it.
